Social media management system company Hootsuite has announced its new open APIs for the purposes of publishing, user management and URL analytics.
Hootsuite allows users to manage 100+ social
networks, share tasks with team members and analyse performance using one
login, in one dashboard.

"The integration will allow [users] to directly post from Proofpoint's
security and compliance solutions, creating more efficiency by centralising
content and approvals," he added.
Nadir says that the ability to seamlessly integrate social data with other key
enterprise companies like Proofpoint means that customers will be able to
maximise social's impact on their organisation and with their own customers --
and this is essentially why Hootsuite has pushed for new integration
"With the open APIs, Hootsuite's platform allows customers to connect
social content and functionality to their existing platforms so they have the
flexibility to integrate workflows and solutions that best fit their business
needs," said Patience Yi, vice president of platform at Hootsuite.
Firms must now recognise how prevalent video is as a means of information education for customers who engage with brands through social media.
