Microsoft launches Stream, a 'YouTube' for companies

Microsoft has unveiled a new service to upload, share and organise videos for streaming in business.



For the time being, Stream is available in a preliminary format. During its beta phase, Stream will coexist with Office 365 Video, eventually absorbing all its features (downloads, sharing, etc). Office 365 Video will then be phased out.

Stream offers new features, such as for automatic translation, facial recognition and audio to text transcription (speech-to-text).
